Lifting Grabs
The grabs (glass unloading frame/device for glass packs) designed and built by Mistrello are equipment dedicated to the glass industry. They allow, controlled by trained and experienced operators, to handle packs of glass of the specified dimensions in safe and manageable conditions.

COMPONENT
The frame is composed by a special steel tubular frame designed and sized for the nominal capacities indicated according to the model and according to the regulations in force. A hook (0) is supplied in the upper part which can be fixed as needed in one of the 3 available holes. The equipment is provided, on the lower part, with two feet (1) whose position can be adjusted up to a certain minimum limit in order not to compromise the stability of the pack. The depth is instead adjusted using a handwheel (2) with worm screw and with the aid of a gauge in the back. The position of the foot with respect to the vertical axis is guaranteed, as required by the regulations, by a positive locking (2) to prevent the operator from forgetting or omitting the fastening. The upper brackets (hands) (4) can be adjusted manually according to the height of the package by lifting assisted by the presence of a counterweight to reduce the necessary force. The position is guaranteed as required by the regulations, by a positive locking (5) to prevent the operator from forgetting or omitting fastening. The gripping depth is adjusted by means of a handwheel (6) with worm screw by means of a mechanical transmission. The flyer is placed at eye level. To facilitate the positioning of the brackets, the equipment is equipped with mirrors (8) that make the rear part visible. The upper brackets (hands) (9) can be adjusted manually according to the width by sliding the tubular out to the desired height. The position is guaranteed as required by the regulations, by a positive locking (10) to prevent the operator from forgetting or omitting fastening. The gripping depth is adjusted by means of a handwheel (11) with worm screw by means of a mechanical transmission.
